Higgins
A watchful presence for what matters at home.
Your people, your pets, your place. Front door, baby monitor, a sleeping dog, an elderly parent, the garden, the kitchen at 2 AM. Higgins keeps an eye on whatever you would want an eye on, recognizes who is there, and tells you what matters — never anything you did not ask to hear.
Things Higgins is good for, today
- Front door / package awareness
- Baby monitor + sleeping-pattern notes
- Elderly parent presence / fall detection (with their consent)
- Pet supervision when you are out
- Garden / outdoor space watch
- Late-night kitchen "is everything off?" check
What this removes from your life
- You worry about your elderly parent living alone — Higgins notices when something is unusual, and only then.
- You miss the deliveries, the leaving-the-door-open, the daughter coming home late — Higgins flags it gently.
- Generic security cameras send you 200 notifications a day — Higgins sends 2, and they matter.
How it works
- Higgins runs on a small device in your home — voice and camera input, local-first processing where possible.
- It learns who lives there (face + voice). New people get flagged once and then learned.
- You tell it what to watch — by talking. "Tell me if the front door opens after 11pm." "Let me know if Grandma has not moved in 4 hours."
- It tells you on whatever channel you prefer — phone, watch, family chat.
How Higgins keeps your data safe
Higgins processes voice and image data locally on the device where possible. Cloud-bound data is encrypted, retained for only as long as you tell it to, and never shared with anyone — including us, in casual review. Other family members never see your personal alerts unless you opt to share.
- No passwords. No account numbers. Plaid's read-only tokens. We never see what you type.
- Read only. Never move. Our software cannot move money or send anything in your name.
- Isolated. Encrypted. Yours. Walled off per person. No casual review. No partners.
Questions, plainly answered
Does it record everything?
No. Higgins listens / watches for the things you have asked about. It does not store continuous footage.
What about strangers / nannies / visitors?
You decide what gets flagged for whom. Higgins respects roles you set.
What if Higgins gets a face wrong?
It asks you to confirm new faces once, then learns. Mistakes are correctable in a tap.
Can my partner / kids see my alerts?
No, unless you choose to share specific feeds with them.
